SpotterPal Privacy Policy
Operated by Veridiar
Effective Date: June 28, 2026
SpotterPal (operated by Veridiar, "we," "us," or "our") is a protein and nutrition tracking app with home and lock screen widgets and a companion Apple Watch app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the App:
- Account — email, display name, and sign-in method (email/password, Google, or Apple). Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store them. We also store your timezone and your selected "personality" preference.
- Profile — height, weight, activity level, and fitness goal, used to calculate your personalized protein (and optional calorie) goals.
- Meals & nutrition — the foods, protein, optional calories, meal type, optional notes, timestamps, and the method/source of each entry, plus saved and custom foods and derived stats like streaks and weekly totals.
- Barcode scans — when you scan, we read the barcode value (not a photo) to look up nutrition info. We do not store camera images.
- Notifications — if enabled, a device token, your reminder preferences, and quiet hours, so we can send the alerts you choose.
- Subscriptions — if you go Pro, we receive your subscription status from Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your card or billing details.
- Device & technical — a local snapshot for widgets and your Apple Watch (a copy of data already on our servers), and basic server logs (e.g., IP address) for security and debugging. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
2. Community Food Sharing
If you turn on "Share with community" for a custom food, we submit only that food's name, protein-per-serving, and serving label for review. Sharing is off by default, optional, and anonymous — your identity is never attached or shown. Approved foods are added to a shared food database others can search. You can turn sharing off or delete the food at any time; once approved, a contribution stays in the shared database in anonymized form. No meal logs, stats, or profile data are ever shared.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and personalize the App — calculate your goals, track progress, power search and barcode lookups, render widgets and your Watch, send notifications you opt into, manage subscriptions, provide support, keep the App secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. (In-app and notification copy is written offline with the help of an AI tool; no user data is sent to any AI service.)
4. Third-Party Services
We share data only as needed with trusted providers, each governed by its own privacy policy: Firebase / Google (sign-in and push delivery), FatSecret (nutrition data; receives your barcode and search queries), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions, payments, push, and Watch sync). We do not disclose your data to anyone else except as required to operate the App or comply with the law.
5. Health Data, Retention & Security
Some data (height, weight, activity, goals, intake) may be health-related; we use it only to run the App, never for advertising, and we do not integrate with Apple HealthKit. We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data promptly (including your sign-in account and any pending community submissions); anonymized approved community foods remain in the shared database. We protect data with encryption in transit and secure infrastructure, though no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, export, or delete your data — you can delete your account anytime via Settings > "Account" > "Delete Account". You control notifications in Settings, and can revoke camera access to disable scanning. To exercise any right, contact us at the email below. The App is not intended for children under 13 (or your local age of consent), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
7. Other Terms
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws. We may update this policy and will revise the date above (and notify you of material changes); continued use means acceptance.

SpotterPal Terms of Service
Operated by Veridiar
Effective Date: June 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SpotterPal mobile application, including its widgets and companion Apple Watch app (the "App"), operated by Veridiar ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher). If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. You may need an account (via email, Google, or Apple); you agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, stay responsible for activity under your account, and tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. The Service
SpotterPal is a general wellness tool for tracking protein (and optional calories) via manual entry, barcode scanning, and food search. It also offers a personalized goal calculated from your self-reported height, weight, activity level, and goal; streaks and stats; personality-flavored copy and notifications you can choose and change; home- and lock-screen widgets and an Apple Watch app; an optional, anonymous community food-sharing feature; and a paid “Pro” tier. Nutritional information comes from third-party databases. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.
3. Medical Disclaimer
THE APP IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND IS NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE, OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE. Nutritional data and goal recommendations are for general informational purposes only, are generated from simplified formulas applied to self-reported values we do not verify, are not medically reviewed, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The App is not appropriate for people with eating disorders, kidney disease, diabetes, pregnancy-related needs, or other conditions requiring monitored intake without first consulting a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a professional before making dietary or health decisions; we disclaim liability for reliance on the App.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
The App has a free tier and an auto-renewing Pro subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Any free trial (where offered) automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Prices and terms are shown at purchase; we may change pricing, effective the next billing cycle. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings (or via “Manage Subscription” in the App). We do not offer partial refunds for unused periods; all refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Pro may support Apple Family Sharing per Apple’s standard handling.
5. Community Food Sharing
Sharing a custom food with the community is optional and off by default. If you enable it, you submit only that food’s name, protein-per-serving, and serving label for review, and you confirm the information is accurate and does not infringe anyone’s rights. Submissions are anonymous — your identity is never attached or shown. We may review, reject, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion. If approved, the anonymized food definition is added to a shared database other users can search and may remain there indefinitely, including after you delete the food or your account. No personal meal logs, stats, or profile data are shared.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App unlawfully or to violate any rights or regulations;
- Access the App, other accounts, or our systems without authorization, or disrupt or overload them;
- Reverse engineer the App, or use bots, scripts, or scraping to access it or bulk-extract third-party nutrition data;
- Submit malicious code, impersonate others, or provide deliberately false profile or community submissions;
- Share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.
7. Your Content & Intellectual Property
You keep ownership of the data you submit (meal entries, profile and onboarding data, custom and favorite foods, reminders, and preferences). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the App on your behalf — including on widgets and your Apple Watch — and, for community contributions, as described above. We will not share your individual nutrition or profile data except as set out in our Privacy Policy. The App itself and all of its content are owned by us or our licensors; you receive a limited, personal, non-commercial, revocable license to use it, and may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit it without our consent.
8. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Firebase / Google (sign-in and push), FatSecret (nutrition data), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple (payments, push, and Watch sync). Your use may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of third-party services or data.
9. Apple App Store Terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Veridiar only, not Apple, and that Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price (if any); otherwise Apple has no warranty obligation, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed or “terrorist-supporting” country and are not on any U.S. restricted-parties list.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; that nutritional data, streaks, or goals are accurate; that notifications will arrive promptly or at all; or that widgets and the Apple Watch app will always show the latest data (these sync on a best-effort basis). TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or US $50. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms or any rights, or content you submit.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or for other reasonable cause. You may delete your account anytime via Settings → “Delete Account”; deletion is irreversible and removes your data promptly as described in our Privacy Policy (anonymized approved community foods may remain). Sections covering the Medical Disclaimer, Intellectual Property, Apple terms, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, and these General provisions survive termination.
12. Governing Law, Changes & General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of San Francisco County, California. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us; if any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect; our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver; and you may not assign these Terms without our consent, while we may. We may update these Terms and will revise the date above (and give notice of material changes); continued use means acceptance.

SkeleVigil Privacy Policy
Identity Protection Protocol
SkeleVigil is built on a "Privacy by Design" foundation. We prioritize the security of your neural data (app progress) and personal identifiers through secure cloud infrastructure.
1. Data Collection & Cloud Storage
- Account Information: When you link a Google, Apple, or Email account, we utilize Firebase Authentication to store your unique User ID and Email. This is required to synchronize your Vault progress and "Secured" mission history across devices.
- Mission Data: We store "Mission Reserves," "Nexus Successful Excavations," and "Lifetime Totals" in a secure Firestore database to ensure your game state is accurate and immutable.
- Guest Mode: For unlinked accounts, all progress and data remain local to your device and are not transmitted to our servers. Deleting the app in Guest Mode will result in permanent data loss.
2. Data Usage & Security
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is used exclusively to:
- Maintain and synchronize your Vault balances and Mission progress.
- Process one-time purchases via authorized App Store/Google Play gateways.
- Deliver authorized "Mission Alerts" or "System Calibration" notifications if enabled.
3. Data Retention
Your "Secured" mission data is kept as part of your "Immutable" record until you request account deletion. You may request the deletion of your data at any time through the in-app support menu.
4. Children's Privacy
Our "Identity Protection Protocol" ensures that we do not intentionally solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. Because SkeleVigil requires a linked Google, Apple, or Email account for cloud synchronization, we rely on the age verification protocols of those third-party providers. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to purge that data from our Firestore records.
SkeleVigil Terms of Use
SkeleVigil ("we," "us," or "our") provides cognitive tools and neural excavation games designed to assist users in maintaining mental vigilance and focus. By accessing or using the SkeleVigil application, you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. You acknowledge that SkeleVigil is a cognitive exercise tool and does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or treatment. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the application.
1. License to Use
SkeleVigil grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for personal, non-commercial, and entertainment purposes. You agree not to reverse-engineer the "Vigil" mechanics, attempt to manipulate "Vault" credit balances through unauthorized means, or automate the excavation process.
2. Virtual Goods & Purchases
- Vault Credits: These are virtual units used within the application with no real-world monetary value. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Transactions: Purchases are one-time transactions for specific credit packages and do not constitute a recurring subscription.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for securing your login credentials. SkeleVigil cannot recover Vault Credits or "Immutable" progress lost due to the deletion of an unlinked Guest Account.
3. Disclaimer of Medical Efficacy
SkeleVigil is a game designed for cognitive stimulation. It is not a clinical tool for diagnosing or treating Alzheimer's, dementia, or any other medical condition. Use of this application does not replace the professional judgment of a healthcare provider. "The Art of the Immutable" refers to the digital preservation of game scores, not a guarantee of permanent cognitive health.
4. Age Requirements
SkeleVigil is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to request deletion.
